Potential new user with some questions before purchase

Hi there!

Tried entering a few rounds to see if I like the program.
Few questions then...

1. I enter the rounds manually in the desktop program after playing the round. Why doesn't it sync back the scores to the iPhone? It doesn't keep a history on the iPhone?

2. "Fairway" I can't click anywhere? How do I tell the iPhone app where I hit the fairway?

3. "First Putt" It's a numerical value.. What do I enter there? Seems like a numerical value to me, because if you know the score for a hole, and fill in the number of putts, you know when you started putting. However, I might be completely misinterpreting wink

4. I play a lot of two-balls on a friendly basis. It's not possible to also track the score of my mate? So we can see at the end of the course who is the better player? He doesn't need stats, just scores. Maybe something for a feature request then? smile

Thanks for an answer!

Regards,
Robert

No, it doesn't. We see the iPhone as a free add-on that lets people skip the step of manually transcribing their scores from scorecard to computer.

Your iPhone has a browser, of course, so if you want to see your past rounds, we recommend using the desktop application's ability to export web pages and viewing those on your phone.

You click in the left rough, right rough, or on the fairway (the lighter green color) itself.

I believe this is covered in the manual. It's your first putt *distance*, in feet if you're using yards, preferably.

Most courses still have actual scorecards. I recommend you keep the stats for yourself, and he keep the scorecard. smile
