Buggy behavior.

I love Cyndicate when it works, but have found a lot of buggy behavior. I have Cyndicate 1.3.2 running on Snow Leopard.

For example, EVERY TIME I create a new smart folder, all folders disappear forcing me to quit and restart.

Also, the program will stop responding sometimes. For example, when I deleted a subscription this morning from the Subscriptions list view (not the Subscription Manager) I could no longer switch to the folder view. I had to quit and restart again. Similar unresponsiveness occurs when doing other things.

I'm running out of my demo time and must decide whether I will purchase. I am concerned about how strongly the product is being supported in terms of future releases. When was Cyndicate 1.3.2 released? Is a future release on the horizon?

Like I said, I love the product when it works but I'm concerned about buggy behavior and whether to invest in this as my main RSS aggregator.

Re: Buggy behavior.

We're working on Cyndicate 2.0. We're looking forward to supporting Mac OS X 10.6, which will let us clean up a fair number of things. I don't know if we're planning to release an update to 1.x before that time, though.
